| Embroidery
Party Coats & Sherwani |
 | We
offer 100% Wool, "Cashmere feel" Long Coats in Black and other background colors,
hand embroidered in traditional patterns. Such coats are embroidered on the Front,
Back and Sleeves. However, some coats are embroidered only partially on the back
portion and therefore cost less.
Some coats are embroidered along the borders
(hemline) only and are comparable in price with the allover type mentioned above.
These coats have little or no embroidery on the back side. |

| Cashmere Woolen Party Coats |
 |
Some embroidered coats have allover work to give a "Jamawar
Coat" or a "Semi-Jamawar Coat" as shown above. The amount of embroidery work done
is evident and there is hardly anything left unembroidered. Such coats are embroidered
by some of the finest craftsmen for months.
Sherwanis are a type of extra-long
coat Woollen embroidery coats of this type cost the highest. Coats come in a maximum
length of 42 inches whereas Sherwanis may be 52-60 inches in length; chest size
can be between 36 and 48 inches, although LARGER sizes can always be made on request.
All of our Party coats have side-seam pockets on either side and are lined.

| Gents Sherwanis |

Gents Sherwanis have very limited range of colors of embroidery
and are embroidered in different styles as compared to ladies sherwanis. Sherwani
being a toe-length wearable has a starting length at 50 inches. It increases as
per the height of the person. Prices are invariably lower than their women counterparts
and may start at a very reasonable |

| Cotton & Silk Kaftans |
 |
Kaftans embroidered in traditional patterns are available
in cotton and silk backgrounds. The front is embroidered allover with minimal
embroidery work on the back of the kaftans. Kaftans are stitched on the sides,
with spaces left towards the top on either side for arms to pass through. Prices
are determined by the amount of embroidery work and the type of fabric used. |

| Cotton & Woolen Kurtas / Tunics |
 |
Embroidery Kurtas / Tunics are an ideal casual wear, available
in both cotton and woollen fabric. They can be either long or short, full-sleeved
or half-sleeved. Kurtas are embroidered by hand in traditional patterns in single-tones
or colorful multi-tone embroidery.

Kurtas, both full and half-sleeved, mostly 30 inches in length with chest size

Shown here are Fine Wool Party Jackets in Black and other
background colors, hand embroidered in traditional patterns. Embroidered jackets

| Salwar Kameez Dresses |
 |
Traditionally worn irrespective of any special occasion,
the Shalwar Kameez is an ethnic dress associated with the subcontinent. Our Shalwar
Kameez Dresses are available in a range of fabrics and embroidery designs. Cotton,
georgette, silk are the fabrics we use mostly. Shalwar Kameez Dresses come with
different price tags, depending on the amount of embroidery work and whether a
Dupatta/ Throw is included with the dress.
The embroidery work is usually
worked around the neckline portion or the base of the Kameez. Shalwar Kameez Dresses
are priced modestly. |

| Party Wear Silk Sarees |

Silk Saris embroidered are famous for two reasons; first
the perfection of the hand-embroidery work and second the traditional patterns
of embroidery employed on such Saris. Embroidered Silk Saris are worn as Party
wear or Wedding Saris. Depending on the amount of embroidery, Silk Saris usually
are loosely allover embroidered or Jamawar embroidered . Pictures shown here are

| Chain Stitch Tapestry Cushion Covers Chainstitch,
be it in wool, silk or cotton is done by hook rather than a needle. The hook is
referred as an "Aari"; it covers a much larger area than needlework in the same
amount of time and has the same quality. All the embroidery is executed on white
cotton fabric, pre-shrunk by the manufacturers. Tiny stitches are used to cover
the entire area, the figures or motifs are worked in striking colors, the background
in a single color comprising of series of coin sized concentric circles. These
circles impart dynamism and a sense of movement to the design. |

| Crewel Fabric Bedspreads Crewel
Work is a special kind of embroidery done with a pointed hook on thick Cotton
'Dosooti' fabric hand-woven . Bedspreads embroidered in crewel work are of two
types: one uses the cotton fabric used for crewel drapes and the other one uses
a much lighter soft-feel cotton. Soft cotton bedspreads can also be used as bedsheets.
Crewel Work Bedspreads come in a range of embroidery patterns and colors; the
cost of fabric being determined by the amount of embroidery work on it and whether
single or double-ply wool is worked on the fabric. |

| Crewel Work Drapery & Upholstery Fabrics Crewel
Fabric is a hand-crocheted embroidery fabric, mostly available on cotton backgrounds;
however it is also made on organza silk, linen, cotton velvet or jute as well.
It is used for both drapery and upholstery purposes depending on whether it is
upholstery grade. Organza Silk would however not qualify for upholstery jobs. Crewel
fabric is commonly made into curtains, bedspreads and cushion covers. Crewel fabric
may be used to cover chairs or sofas and even made into table runners. All our
fabrics in cotton and cotton-velvet are Upholstery grade. Crewel fabric finds
use in making apparels also. Embroidery yarn is mostly wool;
either 1-ply or 2-ply wool is used for embroidery. 1-ply wool embroidery is cheaper
and covers more surface area per stitch while 2-ply wool embroidery is costlier
and leaves a finer detail after embroidery due to a lesser surface being covered
per stitch. ArtSilk (synthetic silk) is also employed sometimes for embroidery
yarn. Crewel Fabric is available in many widths with 52
inches being the most popular. 56 and 44 are the other widths available. Length
is 20 to 35 yards per bolt. |
